Council joins #ViralKindness campaign

In the wake of Covid-19, the worldwide spread of coronavirus sweeping the UK. Rodington Parish Council is determined to do whatever it can to help support the community through this time in a safe, proactive and sensible way.

To do this we have joined the Viral Kindness campaign which aims to recruit volunteers in the local area who could help their neighbours in need with such things as collecting shopping, a check up call, collecting medicines etc. To get word out local volunteers are delivering small information leaflets to homes on their local streets.

We have already signed up some local volunteers and equipt them with the advice, resource and guidence they need to be able to support the community.
