The Parish of Rodington, which includes the village of Longdon Upon Tern is a rural parish in Shropshire. The principle authority for the parish is Telford & Wrekin Council and the parliamentary seat for the area is The Wrekin. The area is rich of history and includes many iconic buildings such as the Longdon-on-Tern Aqueduct which was designed by Thomas Telford and built in 1796 to carry the Shrewsbury Canal across the River Tern.
